What Brand Boards Do
Brand Boards are the central place where a business's visual identity and communication style live, so every AI-generated and manually built asset across the platform automatically stays on-brand. Instead of re-entering hex codes, re-uploading a logo, or re-explaining tone every time content gets built, a Brand Board is set up once and then referenced everywhere: websites, funnels, emails, social posts, and AI agents.
A Brand Board has two core components:
Design Kit — the visual identity (colors, fonts, logos)
Brand Voice — the communication style (tone, vocabulary, messaging patterns)
Together, these are what let AI-generated content actually sound and look like the business, rather than generic, one-size-fits-all output.
Part 1: Design Kit
What It Does
Stores the business's approved color palette, typography, and logo files in one place, then makes them instantly available inside every builder (funnels, websites, the design tools) without needing to hunt for a hex code or re-upload a logo each time.
Creating a Design Kit
There are three ways to build one:
Option A: Manual Setup
Go to Marketing → Brand Boards.
Click Create Brand Board (or + Add New).
Name it clearly (e.g., "Main Brand," "Client X Brand").
Add brand colors (primary, secondary, accent), fonts, and upload logo files (including variants for light/dark backgrounds where applicable).
Save.
Option B: Preset/Template Start Start from a pre-built design system and adjust colors, fonts, and logos from there rather than building entirely from a blank state.
Option C: Generate from a Website URL Paste an existing website's URL and the system automatically extracts key brand elements, colors, fonts, and logo styles, to generate a starting Design Kit instantly. This is the fastest option for a business that already has an established site and just needs that identity brought into the platform.
Using the Design Kit
Once created, approved colors and fonts appear directly inside the color and font pickers across the site and funnel builders.
Only the Design Kit marked Default appears automatically in those pickers, so for an account managing multiple brands, make sure the correct one is set as default before a build begins.
Updating the Design Kit once (a new logo, an adjusted color) automatically refreshes it everywhere it's referenced, no need to manually update each individual page or asset.
Part 2: Brand Voice
Defines how the business communicates, tone, vocabulary, sentence style, and messaging patterns, so AI-generated content (email subject lines, social captions, website copy, agent responses) sounds consistent with the brand instead of generic AI output.
Creating a Brand Voice Profile
From Brand Boards, open the Voice section (or Brand Voice) within the relevant Brand Board.
Click Create Brand Voice.
Name it descriptively (e.g., "Main Brand Voice," "Client X Voice") if managing more than one.
Define the voice, either by:
Manually setting tone attributes and describing the communication style, or
Uploading writing samples: existing content (emails, website copy, social posts) that the system analyzes for sentence structure, tone, vocabulary, and formatting patterns, then applies automatically going forward.
Save the profile.
Tip: A Brand Voice built from real writing samples tends to produce more accurate, natural results than one built purely from manually selected tone descriptors. Where possible, feed it actual existing brand copy rather than starting from a blank description.
Applying Brand Voice to Content AI
Once a Brand Voice profile exists, it can be applied anywhere Content AI is used: Email, Blogs, Funnels & Websites, and Social Planner.
Open the relevant builder (for example, the Email Builder).
Click AI → Generate with AI.
Confirm the Use Brand Voice toggle is turned on.
Choose the correct saved Brand Voice profile from the dropdown.
Generate. Output will automatically reflect the brand's configured tone.
Behavior to know:
Brand Voice is on by default once a profile exists, but it can be toggled off for a single session if generic, un-branded content is needed for some reason.
Any manual edits made after generation always take priority over the AI's autofilled tone, so adjusting the output by hand never gets overwritten.
If no Brand Voice exists yet, the system prompts to create one before continuing.
Part 3: Brand Voice in Agent Studio (Voice & Chat AI)
Brand Voice and the Design Kit both extend into Agent Studio, applying brand rules automatically to AI agents that generate text, images, video, or audio.
Inside the agent-building flow, assign a Brand Board to the relevant node.
A new brand can also be created directly from within the node using + Add New, without leaving the builder.
Once assigned, brand rules (tone, vocabulary, visual identity) are passed automatically to the AI whenever that node runs.
Move the agent to Staging or Production once satisfied with how it reflects the brand.
Important behavior:
Updating a Brand Board applies automatically to future node runs only. Content the agent already generated before the update does not change retroactively, so a meaningful brand voice adjustment should be followed by a quick review of any recently generated content still in use.
Multi-brand accounts: Different nodes within the same agent can be assigned different Brand Boards, each node follows its assigned brand independently, useful for an account managing multiple distinct brands or client identities from one build.
